New Haven CT, today, started to give illegal immigrants ID cards making it legal for them to use the libraries, public transportation, apply for a drivers liscence, etc. How do you feel about this? This is your tax dollars hard at work.

Frankly I am glad I don't live in New Haven. This law is an affront not only to citizens of the United States, but also to those who immigrate here legally and follow the process. What we have is a city openly defying the law of the land. I found it amusing that Americans for Legal Immigration PAC have circulated fliers with maps and directions on how to reach New Haven in 40 states encouraging illegals to move there. It should be fun to watch as illegals flock to the town and overwhelm their social service system.

THEY ARE BREAKING THE LAW BY BEING HERE!
They should NOT get free health care, they should not get free educations, they should not be able to obtain jobs, and they should NOT BE GIVEN AN ID CARD to more easily do things they are not LEGALLY supposed to be doing.
I just heard that each ILLEGAL immigrant costs us taxpayers $20K a year. AND THESE ARE THE ONES THAT WORK!

I think the U.S. Government needs to issue I.D. cards and make it a felony to hire them without transmitting an electronic check to the Gov verifying authenticity. Once we can ID them then we can ween them off their half dozen each SS cards and begin to turn them away from health care facilities and free bread & butter lines.If they are legally here, why would they object? Illegals imigrants need to be put in jail before deportation.

The people that do this should be dragged into the street and shot like a dog, then hung from the nearest lamppost or tree with a "I'm a traitor to America" sign hung on their neck.

huge mistake promoting lawlessness and rewarding illegal immigration is a slap in the face to anyone who has come here or wishes to legally.our forefathers never thought we would have illegal immigration to the point it is today or that so many would be breaking our laws to be here or that so many would have no morals or standards and we would support them and their out of wed lock children with our taxpayers money.or that NAFTA would take our jobs and send them to other countries like Mexico so they send our jobs away and they still come here illegally and take more of our jobs.they are lowering our standard of living and robbing us blind!if i were in charge i would use the ID crap to track them down and load them up on buses and drop them back off and they would never be allowed here again.if they come here and have kids but are not citizens then neither are their kids,they all go back! go back and fix your own country you are not wanted here!

I would consider this as aiding and abetting criminal activity, possibly prosecutable under federal racketeering laws.
They should be issuing them handcuffs not ID cards.

about time people treat immigants like animals when all they do here is work there *** off unlike some people here...and if people supporting them are traitors how do u think god wanted things to be fro us to judge people from where they come from or what they bring to the table...and people against try to stop to think...can u do all the work immigrant i mean the jobs americans dont want to do for minimum wage?besides they arent immigrating because this is their home
