We'd have to know the circumstances. Each individual is as unique as the affair.
But from experience, hard evidence, gets them everytime. And never ever lose your cool, don't get all emotional...cheaters always use it against you. Make up your mind about the consequences for his actions. If you're gonna leave, then be ready to go. If you are just giving him a warning, state it as such.

Get the solid proof first. Search his car, borrow it and drive to the store or something and search it in the parking lot. Look in his pockets etc. Sounds sneaky I know, but, so was he. Have a plan of action when you find out he is and stick to it don't make empty threats or you'll never be taken seriously again. I just have one question for you.... even if he isn't a cheater why are you staying with a liar and a doper, shouldn't you already be out of there????

You are off to a good start. NEVER come right out and ACCUSE somebody of something. Just ask the right questions! Be calm, be cool, and just think about what questions to ask. You might be able to lie your way out of one or two questions, but it's pretty tough to sit there and cook stuff up on the spot when hit with a barage of questions!

Just come right out and ask him about the rendesvous in question. You don't have to accuse him of cheating, but you should be able to tell from his response if he has something to hide.

it's not the questions you ask but the observations you make - humans are creatures of habit - you know your husband better than anyone else - if certain habits change - if he's routine has altered - then you need to look deeper

good luck

I think you already know the answer.

If the trust is not there anymore it will never work.

Cut your losses and move on.

Good luck.
