it's great, you get five dvds for forty nine cents each and then you have to buy five at about twenty dollars each (normal price) over two years. they get really mad and inquire into your credit and damage it if you havent bought five in two years, that's why i use a prepaid visa gift card, no hassles. but overall it's good

Oh hell no!
Don't be taken in by Columbia House. I had a roommate who belonged to that and it wasn't long before he got behind in the routine and before he knew it, they were sending him stuff they "thought he would enjoy." Of course it was his responsibility to send back anything he didn't want, which he didn't always do and he ended up paying a lot of money for stuff he probably wouldn't have bought in the first place. What do you get? Ten CDs for a penny and then you're obligated to buy five more at the "regular price"? Check out the "regular price" - it's probably more than what you would pay at a music shop.
If you have a lot of money to waste and are diligent about your mail order responsibilities, then go for it. But otherwise,
buy USED CDs from your local independent record store! There's no shortage of used discs out there, they cost a fraction of what they go for new and you'll be minimizing the amount of excess crap in the world.
