I am so proud of myself....but as I sit here at the pc, this is the worst time and I am gagging for one!
How are you all doing giving it up?

Keep up the good work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know how hard it can be to quit. Try not to focus on the cravings. Get somethings to replace the smokes like carrots or even celery.

First of all, there is no way to know whether someone sprayed your weed with something lethal, and they use all kinds of pesticides on weed crops and put things on the plant to make it more potent-meaning chemicals so your not just smoking marijuana....theres no way to know what the hell your smoking. They smuggle it in in various ways and sometimes put it in things that contaminate the weed and again theres no way to know how the weed or what the weed was exposed to. Everytime you smoke brain cells are killed and brain cells do not regenerate so if you continue to smoke you will just get stupid and eventually fat from the munchies. I use to smoke a lot when I was a teen and my concentration sucks and I forget things very easily (only God knows what I put in my body). Not to mention, you will have to smoke more and more to get the same high after some time and when that buzz isn't good enough you'll try another drug which will get you more buzzed and depending on what your next drug is, it could kill you. Also, if you become an addict then it will be very hard to stop. Drugs are stupid, make you stupid and do nothing to contribute to a life of happiness. I'm lucky I quit when I did at 18 or I'd probably be some cracked out whore with a jail record. Use your brain to empower yourself, don't kill it off!!!

Well done. You are really doing good for your body. It takes a lot of hardwork and will power so i think your a brillant person because most smokers i speak too say they can never give up and hardly even try.
Keep trying its worth it in the end!!!! Goodluck!!!! If your struggling try some nicotine gum or patches.
Once your fully over smoking you will have a lot more money being saved and then you can take yourself on a lovely holiday somewhere as a reward.
Just don't give in!!! You really can do it!!!!

Good onya mate! I gave up maybe 4 or 5 weeks ago, cold turkey. I still have the occasional, sneaky one at work but that's all, :$. Good luck with keeping up the good work. :) Yeah, the cravings will get less as u go, resist them as much as u can. The nicotine is gone from ur body now. I'm proud of u too.

You are AWESOME -- I gave it up many years ago and I can't even stand to be in the wake of someone else's smoke outdoors now! Think of how nice you smell and picture how nicely your lungs are going to 'pink' back up. You have it licked physically if you have 3 weeks behind you -- now it's just the psychological thing. Take extra showers and pamper yourself with girlie things that smell wonderful -- savor how your hair doesn't smell and your clothes don't smell anymore! For me, I even found myself going to bed a little earlier when I felt a little weak. So - turn of the computer and take a nap when you can. Start thinking of yourself as a non-smoker. Look how freaking self-righteous we all are?!?!!? They always say ex-smokers are the worst, ha-ha, but our numbers are growing and we're getting stronger and stronger at making our planet smoke free! Okay, that was a little obnoxious...okay, a lot obnoxious. Anyway, kudos -- you will be much happier and healthier so do whatever you need to so you can get beyond those little bumps...we're pulling for you!

That's great! Keep it up. Stay away from the pc if you must.
I'm now 7 months smoke-free. I still want one, but I can control the urge much better.
If only smoking were good for you!
Congrats on your success. You are a strong person and you are doing really well.

Good for you! Three weeks is great. I am still smoking. Have quit several times and started again. dumb! I think you will always crave them, but the cravings get less as you go along. I quit for two years once and still wanted to grab a cigarette after eating. Good luck and keep up the good work.

I've never smoked but I understand it's really hard to give up so well done for going this far. My friends told me that you have done the hardest part.
My ex needed something to keep his hands busy so he wouldn't reach for a ciggy so he learned to play the guitar.
