The occult section would pretty much be the religion and spirituality section.
Personally, I prefer to have occult grouped in with general religious and spirituality because occult beliefs are just as legitimate as any other belief of a spiritual nature. I don't like segregation.
Besides, when all the occult questions are seen by the fundamentalists, it might actually broaden one of their minds a little, (its unlikely, but who knows...)

Yeah, I think that would be a nice addition. If you post an occult question in S&R then you are bound to get condemd to hell by certain religious people. You're just looking for some answers not to be judged. That doesn't mean that it won't happen on the Occult section if they had one.

I think an occult section wouldn't be a bad idea. Not all aspects of the occult deal with religion so not all questions fall into a religion category.

The Christians would scream if either Occult or Pagan got their own sub forums. However, they would troll both groups constantly. This has been going on since the days of the BBS and mail groups in the 80s. They have been brainwashed into believing they must hassle all non Christians or they themselves might not get to go to their heaven.

Yea the occult section goes with the religion and spirituality, but a lot of people don't post there because christians have the most population there and we really don't wonna have tot deal with them coming into our questions saying let jesus into your heart or crap like that.

It would be nice, but would be populated with trolls and stalkers. You can try posting the suggestion in the forum and see what happens. I personally would like to see a category where we aren't berated by the christians preaching their dogma and every turn. You know - freedom of religion?

While it would be cool in my view, I'm afraid it would not get very much serious traffic and would quickly get filled with "give me spllz PLEASE" and "this is evil because the word 'occult' is in it."
