The guy basically owns up to liking what is in essence a chick flick. I hope you can appreciate that, and him a little better by extension.

The Natural is a good baseball movie but there are better ones out there. Bull Durham, Field of Dreams, Pride of the Yankees (I dare him to sit through that one and not cry at the end) are three of the best. Tell him to try those on for size. Of course it just might be a matter of personal preference

Probably because that's the only one that he's seen. Major League 3: Back to the Minors (which sucked) was a better baseball movie than "The Natural."

i loved that movie too,its about someone who is very good who finally gets a chance and proves he was very talented all along
