If so... what should be done to deal with it?

Yes. Arabs are a security threat. So are Christians. So are males. So are people with blonde hair. So are people who are bald. So are.....

Criminals exist in every demographic. And have since the dawn of civilization.

Trying to blame a billion+ people for the actions of an incredibly tiny fraction (1/100th of 1% by any reasonable estimate) is just irrational racial or religious prejudice.

What should we do? Go after the individual criminals, and stop assuming that everyone with the same skin color or hair style thinks the same.

that is going to the premise that generalizing an idea keeps it truthful.
If you say: all the ....... are ......
you are already wrong, you're statement is wrong.
Al the arabs in the US are not anything, some are good, some are bad, some are nice, some are mean, some are proterrorist and some are against, just like every other group in society.
Since the terrorists we are dealing with during these times are arabs (and remember that arab is a word trying to put together a bunch of different groups that like and dislike each other), then we need the help of the arab communities in this country to alert the goverment of terrorists trying to harm us or trying to recruit among their peers.
Working together with the arab communities in the US is much more beneficial than hating them, putting them in concentration camps or expelling them from this country

No, Arabs are Arabs, they are people, not a security threat. Only a small minority are terrorists.

No, since the majority of Arab Americans are Christians.

"The majority of Arab Americans are Christian. Only about 12 percent of Muslims worldwide are Arabs. In fact, there are more Muslims in Indonesia than in all Arab countries combined."

I don't discriminate against people, unlike many of my fellow Americans, based on race. Also, terrorists make a small fraction of Muslims and it's absurd and wrong to attack innocent people based on religion and race.

Saudis own literallly at least 20% of the US. Most of it is real estate.

Under these circumstances, it would be politically incorrect to consider all of them a security threat.

However, I think any Saudi in this country who isn't worth at least a million dollars should at least be on a watch list.

Fanatics of any stripe are dangerous people, be they Arabic,
European, Asian or American. It's very difficult to judge who's
a lunatic just from looking at them. Mentally unbalanced people come in all shapes and sizes. It could be your neighbor or your best friend. All we can really do is pay attention and do our best to protect ourselves and our loved ones as best we can within the confines of the law.

Only those who believe that religion comes before country are a threat.

An American muslim who does not believe that Islamic law takes precedence over the nations law is not dangerous, but this applies to any fanatic, such as pro life, anti vivisection etc.

No. No I don't. Life here is good, and people who came here looking for a better life aren't likely to risk it. I'm far more concerned with the security threat of my Presidents disregard for the Constitution. I can handle one religious nutjob by myself, maybe even a handful of them. But going up against a rogue president is more than I want to tackle.

Just about as much as you would consider militant, ignorant, racist, middle-aged, heavily-armed American males a security threat.
Look at the Unabomber, the Oklahoma City bombing and the DC sniper. Look at Columbine and Virginia Tech. For that matter, look at Catholic priests and dirty-minded Republicans chasing your kids around.
