Im in the same class. Not rich. Nor poor. Because of that- id say dont. I am also 14, and you have like NO time before you start driving. What job can a 14 year old get that'll pay thousands in short time for college ($40,ooo ++) and cars, and insurance, and getting your life started. Thats too much. How is that going to help you in the long run? it wont even buy u happiness. Hun- im sorry but thats a spoiled thing to do. Im not saying you are. Yore sooo not bc youre thinking things throug. But what would you rather have: a car, college, etc. OR a purse? You do the math.

Purses don't last very long. The straps break, the zippers get busted, etc. I don't think it would be a wise investment. I realize 14 year olds don't usually care, but you are asking the question. If you have access to $1400, there are many other material things that you could buy that will last a lot longer. You could pretty much even buy yourself a little european vacation for that, and gain some awesome memories. Anyway, my opinion is that buying a purse that is that costly is a total waste.

U r a spoiled brat. I am 18 and i can barrely afford shoes that cost more than $70. Sure my dad is loaded with money but since i don't see him i am a low middle class girl. I was like u until i was 6 yrs. old. If i was ur parents i would make u work for it so u could understand the value of a dollar.

definitely not. That's way too much for a purse. Even for someone older.
You can buy a good purse for less than $100, sometimes even for like $25.
Save up the money for something else. Something more important.
And I'm 14 too, and if someone I knew had a $1,400 purse, I wouldn't think they're cool. I'd most likely think of them as a spoiled brat.
Plus, you probably won't use it as much cause you'll be worrying about ruining it.

No. It's a purse, why do you need one that costs $1,400? That's crazy, if you have that much money to spend then buy a lot of clothes since you get more than one thing that way. $1,400 purse, yeah it might be really nice, but is that really worth a purse?
But it's your money to spend, so do with it as you will. I don't think a purse can turn you into anything, and if people think it's too much, well that's their problem. It is your money. Your parents might shoot you, but hey, it's a really nice purse right?
If you do go ahead and get it, make sure no one steals it and you take care of it cause that is a $#!@ load of money for a bag.

Yes, you sound like a spoiled little brat! I'm 17 and I would never ever buy a purse that cost over $85!
You don't even have a job and you even said yourself that your family isn't rich. But yet you want "them" to buy you the purse. What a dumb a ss thing to waste hard earned cash on.
That purse is way to expensive (for anyone) especially for a 14 yr. old little girl like you. You need to have more of a brain than that ok. You're not the only one in your family that "wants" stuff. Have more respect for your parents and "their" money. Quit thinking about only yourself!
If I was your parent I would tell you to go earn some money baby-sitting or washing cars or something. If you really want it than cough up the $1400 yourself.
They could save that $1400 to pay down on a car for you!
You sound sooooo self-centered!
Edit:
That purse is NOT that pretty and it's definatly not worth $1400! I have a purse that cost me $27 and it looks WAY cuter than that!
Quit trying to be someone your not.

Yes, indeed it sounds like you are spoiled to even consider buying a $1,400 purse. Do you want expensive things you don't need just so you can brag about them?
Besides, If you have an expensive purse like that, you are only setting yourself up to have it stolen. Maybe even "mugged."
I think you need to get your priorities straight. What is your money source? At 14 you didn't earn $1,400 yourself. My advice is to save toward college because one day you will be on your own out in the "real world." Maybe then, you will realize that money is not to be wasted on frivolous things.

Honey, you are being a spoilt brat. Think about how much your family could use that $1400 to pay bills. Ask your mom how much it costs a month to keep a roof over your head.
Holy crap I can't even believe you are asking
Then run out and get a knock-off for $50.
You are looking for a status symbol so other kids will look at you like your are rich.

i have seen both the links you sent.. nothing looks like the one a 14yr would carry... you are young you must carry nice trendy ones.. these are expensive just 'coz of their brand.. dont fall just for brands... and when you say you are middle class... hmmm... how can you afford this.. instead you can buy a lot of other stuff you might really want to use right...
what bag does your mom use?? think for yourself if you have achieved so much in life that you want to spend 1400 on a bag... i am not trying to downgrade you... but think for yourself.. dont just take people's opinion... you will have to know what you are doing and if you can do that....
you are not a kid.... you are in your teens.. you must be supporting your family... but if you are soooo much interested in these.. try getting similar ones from local stores.. fake ones.. b'coz if people know that you are middle class though you get an original one.. they might not think it is original..
and the best part is if you carry a 1400$ bag.. your dress.. shoe.. and remaining accessories should go with that.. otherwise it will look as if you got that bag from someone or it might be a fake one :)
