Yes! I can't stand fake people. I also like to shock snobs who continuously mock others. When I do, I'm straight to the point, forthright and blunt! I have no time for ignorant people who insist that they are in any way, shape or form, better than anyone else.

Ex: I have a family that I see about three times a year. We are very good friends. They are black and I am white. I saw him in the grocery last week and ran up to give him a friendly hug hello. I asked him about his wife and kids and he said they were all great. About this time, I saw beside us a woman who apparently disapproved of our greeting. I immediately asked her if she had a problem with a white woman greeting a black man? She took off in a huff. We just both laughed.

Ex: I was in line to check out at a store in the mall. The woman in front of me was obviously wealthy. The cashier repeatedly was polite to the woman and tried to make small talk. The woman continuously retorted sly remarks back to the cashier. You could tell the girl was having a rough day and was almost brought to tears. Finally, I had had enough and asked the woman if it was truly necessary for her to be such a b****? "Well, I never!" was her response. "If you're ever around me again and act this way, you will again." was my answer.

Didn't mean to droll you to sleep. Yes, I usually shock people
with my remarks, when they deserve it!

sometimes, but i give that impression more often than it is true...

today in a job interview i used the phrase "killing cute little mouseys" in regard to a job requiring scientific experiments on animals (to find a cure for lukemia, no cosmetic testing stuff so don't tirade at me)... not sure what impression that gave but i'm sure it's not the right one.

I also once accidently wore a shirt to a medical research institute with the james watson quote "If we don't play god who will" written on the front in huge letters. (accidently in that it was the only clean thing i had left to wear)

Neither were just for shock value, but they probably both seemed like it. I'm not good at finding appropriate words.

but to get back to topic, yes i do sometimes aim to shock.
