Heres a poem you'll like

"Oh Beautiful Setting Sun"

I lie there and see the sun
Giving of streaks of color in the sky.

No longer is it gleaming brightly
up of so high.

As it continues to disapear,
I continue to cry.

The others just laugh and stare
while asking me why.

But its far to embarissing,
so I tell them a lie.

The real truth
is that I wish I could tie.....

.....a rope around the sun
so I would never say good bye.

But, for this is impossible,
so I sit there and sigh.

But i will see the sun next morning,
where I will replie:

Oh Beautiful Setting Sun,
I will adore you until the say that I die.

Try this one:

Love Lies Sleeping

This is my favorite time of night
When the stars have gone to bed
When I can watch in semi-darkness
And see the curls that frame her head
Sometimes she frowns, sometimes she smiles
Sometimes there’s a little sigh
And I wonder if I’m in her dreams
Or it’s just some other guy
It doesn’t really matter, you know
Because she’s mine when comes the sun
And it fills my heart with joy to know
That by day I’m the only one
Who animates her face with love
That reflects the world we share
And of all the ones she might have chose
It’s me that she wants there
Yet there’s honesty in slumber
When waking curtains have drawn down
When asleep’s the frightened girl inside
That bravely wears such a heavy crown
That’s why I love this time of night
When the stars have gone to bed
When I can watch in semi-darkness
And wonder where her dreams have led
