you buy it in the store like bestbuy or compusa
there is a $25 and $600 version
you can ddownload a demo from adobe

If getting it free is more important than having it right away, you can set yourself up as a place for people to 'discard' (donate) their obsolete computer systems when they upgrade to new ones. Most systems will come to you without a lot on them. But sooner or later one will come along that has a version of Photoshop still on its hard drive.
The Adobe web site offers free downloads of Photoshop Elements (or what used to be Photoshop LE) with a limited-use trial period. The full version of the software retails for over $600...

You can't LEGALLY ! get a full version (trial demo's maybe) Adobe's Photoshop software is quite expensive but there are alternatives that are available for free.
I've heard good things about a programme called GIMP

As many have said you can use GIMP, it's free to use as well. Paint.net is also good. Paint Shop Pro is good I'm told if you're willing to buy it, it's no way as expensive as photoshop.

Legally, you can't get it for free ... unless you download the 30-day trial version. It's an expensive programme.
