90%+ are made for Tesco by the branded manufacturers!
Tesco, with their huge buying power can negotiate a big discount whilst the manufactureres have to v=cover substancial adverting cost on their own brands!

their own brand cat food fish variety boxes used to be better than all the others, according to my cat. Then they stopped shelving them, only the meat variety and my cat got fed up with them not being up there on the shelf for me to buy. I tried telling the staff about it, but it was unavaulable for so so long that my cat decided to favour another brand.
