I am 18, started puberty around 14. My acne is clearing up and I have some mild scarring. Two questions really- right now I have some peach fuzz and goat hair- when will I start getting that 5 oclock shadow look and be able to grow a beard? And also do acne scars prevent hair growth?

Acne scars are on the surface of your face. Hair folicles are under the surface. So, no, the scars will not prevent hair growth.

It may be another year or 2 (or 3) or maybe sooner when the facial hair growth starts to really kick in. It varies from person to person.

Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.
