I have a big problem, my ex-boyfriend had moved out of a house we lived in together for almost 2 yrs, Than when he moved into an apartment he lived in for almost a year, the landlady evicted him for some strange reason, so being the kind person I was and remembering things he had helped me out with, I told him he could live in the house I had continued to rent after he left. Now he's been here almost a whole year or a little more, and he's creating dangerous living conditions. He walks around with a loaded shotgun (to protect the chickens I have outside he says), he is drunk every night, smokes marijuana, has stolen licence plate and sticker for expiration, as well as inspection sticker on his automobile. He is a very dangerous person to cross, and I want him gone from my home as my daughter is expecting and he's been fighting with her while my husband and her fiance are at work. He's even faught verbally with our fellas. My name is the principal name on the lease, not his.

CALL THE SHERIFF'S DEPT IMMEDIATELY ... if what you said is true, not only will they serve him with an eviction notice, but will probably haul him off to jail ... so "the landlady evicted him for some strange reason" huh???
and from the sound of your living arrangements, i think Jerry Springer should be on your speed dial ...

Can't imagine why he got evicted from that apartment. Your details ar a little confusing but if I understand this he loved out and then moved back in only now he has a fiancee. Why is he not living with her? But anyway, if he is not on the lease then legally he has no entitlement to the property. I don't know if you have simply asked him to leave yet but if he refuses, a simple call to 911 would do the trick. If necessary you may also want to consider a restraining order. He sounds like a loose cannon and the sooner he is gone the better. And forgive me for saying this but your choice to let this loser back in your home was a very poor one. But we all make bad choices from time to time.

If you want to get rid of him, you will need to go down to the courthouse and get eviction papers to get him out. Most states have laws that state, after 30 days a property owner has to evict a person, because they are legally a tenant.
As for the other issues, I would call your local police department and advise them of this guys behavior. If he is as dangerous as you say, getting a restraining order may not be a bad idea. Also document his activisties as best you can, that way if you go to court it doesn't become a case of yur word against his.

First try to just kick him out yourself .... but that might not be a good idea if he likes to cruise around with a shotgun.
File an unlawful detainer in court, and get the Sheriff to come and evict him. If you say he's armed and dangerous, which is what that looks like, then you can also get a restraining order.

Dangerous people can't be reasoned with! First, ask him to be gone in a week, you may even have to get him a place to live in order to get him out. Failing that, have him evicted. Last thing, charge him with a crime. The danger in all this, is he'll blame you and yours for all his problems, and may cause you hurt.

Oh boy! you've got your hand full!
I think it's time for you to report him! DON'T FEEL GUILTY OR ANY THING. The way you're describing, the guy is INSANE! he's an accident to happen!
I, experiencing and coping with a nasty, creepy, noise making neighbour, understand clearly how and what you're going through. Try to make some sense in him, if not, CALL FOR HELP!

Get a restraining order against him, have the police deliver it and if he comes around any more they will arrest him. If he doesn't have a permit for the gun, turn him in. This is considered domestic violence and you could have him arrested for that as well as for having illegal drugs in your house. Good luck. Do it before he gets drunk enough or mad enough to kill one of you or all of you.

Call the authorities and say he pointed the rifle at you and threatened to kill you. They will arrest him immediately and then file for a restraining order. If you can get him on a drug rap, he may have to do some time as well...

If his name isn't on the lease, I would tell him he needs to get out. If you fear him then I would ask the police or sheriff to be there when you do it. Or have them come when you and your family aren't there. Then make sure you change all your locks and such so he can't get back in. If nothing else, go to your local police precinct and talk to them. They may be able to give you some suggestions.
