Love is a feeling and attraction is a force.
Love takes root over time and may be proportional to it.But attraction force weakens over time.Love is bilateral but attraction may be unilateral.

Attraction

It is attraction.. there is no such thing as love at first sight! When you see someone the first thing you see is the physical appearance. You can't just fall in love by seeing someone, but you can have a strong attraction towards them.. later on after getting to know them you can actually say you're in love until then it's attraction...!

Can you deny that feeling you get when you meet someone for the first time, something like " Oh My god. There you are!", like you have actually KNOWN this person forever. Its so involuntary that when you catch yourself smiling generously, you HAVE to stop and seriously ask yourself " What the hell was that all about?!?"

Does it makes sense when that feeling could be associated with that of familiarity of knowing someone from a previous life, and when you meet them again in this life, you feel that sudden pang of 'knowing' someone and therefore, if we have not been exposed to the concept of reincarnation, we label it as ' love at first sight' or 'attraction'.

If you look at it without judgement, attraction or love is both possible in any case, because you have spent an entire life with that person before and now when they cross your path, you are overwhelmed with those feelings of familliarity.

How do we identify all these complexes emotions of ours, in nano seconds, when they are all happening at the same time? Our concous mind does not, but our subconcious and our soul does.

Think of this as seeing your best friend again after years of being apart. Wouldn't you feel that immense love, that immense attraction for them? ( By attraction i mean affinity, and not sexual feelings).
Something to think about.

If you ask me I will say false since I don't believe in love at first sight.

I like the term instant attraction. To love someone, you have to know them. You can't love someone for how they look, or that sparkle in their eye. Love is something that grows, it comes from understanding, it comes from appreciation of what and who the person is.

I could love someone that I had come to respect and admire thru their actions and deeds even if they were physcially unattractive to me. Love makes that person beautiful to you.

I don't doubt there are people that are stirred when they meet someone for the first time. But I attribute that to the fact that the kindred spirits recognize their own kind.

In Light,
Alex
