do you chalk your accomplishments up to luck, the generosity of others, or write them off by saying anyone could have done it? aren't you aware how unique your combination of mind and motivation is?

anyone else COULD have done 'it', but you DID. do you feel that give yourself enough credit? do others?

I usually credit those around me. I am not very independent and I need pushing around. When I accomplish something, I believe it was the people around that gave me the strength to do it.

I should give myself more credit, but I am always giving everyone else credit..Oops

I can't really say I think of things in terms of "credit." If I accomplish something well, it's because I did my best. If someone gives me a bit of insight along the way, I appreciate it. I have pride in the things I do, never consider it luck or the generosity of others, or put myself down. "Credit" seems sort of like marking your own exam. Perhaps someone else could have done it, I did it, & isn't that enough?

I don't seek recognition for the things I've accomplished, as I often feel I could have done better or more. Therefore, I'm constantly striving to improve myself. There are some situations I know I have handled badly, and wish I could do them over again. For the most part, though, I think I'm doing better than I did in the past, and that's just due to experience and age. However, I don't anticipate any accolades. I'm not one who will go down in history for having made any real contributions to society. All I really want at this point, are health, happiness and peace for my family, friends and self.

No, most of the times, I don't give myself enough credit. I usually think that many others could have done the same, and probably better. Or that many others did the same, or did much more, and/or much better.

No, not always.

I don't give enough credit for the things that i have accomplished..........because there are still lots and lots more to achieve in my life......there are still more to come.....
i should not lose my courage and hard work for the future.

i try to accomplish things that i can say a lot of people helped me with this, maybe im just modest. but i dont like finishing things on my own, id rather someone else double check for me. and sometimes i blame it on god granting my prayers too late... people usually call that luck

the problem with me is that I don't even feel as though I have made enough accomplishments to be praiseworthy--my life feels like a steady stream of failures and bad decisions

I don't believe in luck. If I accomplish something, it's because God willed it. Plain and simple.
