Can you use a temp state i.d to get on a plane?

They prefer a picture ID but you can use the temp. You can also get a regular ID card at the DMV (ahaggahaggaaa) that has your picture on it and is regular and valid ID but not for driving. Passport works great if you have one stashed away some where.
