I wish that I could have gone to Woodstock.

I can't do it now, but it would have been fun telling my grandkids about it. I bet even if I came down with dementia I would still remember my experience at Woodstock!

I lived on the Minesota/Canadian border, the nearest neighbor being 38 miles away and the nearest town 55 miles away. I miss the lowing on the fraight train that come through the woods, it's moarnful call, the cracking and pinging of the lake at forty below zero and the fishing shack at night when the crappies were hitting. It was a happy time a joyful time, I'm old now and can't go back. It will be a one way trip in the end and I'll be free.
I left to fight a war to end wars, I listened to another president that said we would be free, I wish I would have stayed in my woods with the bear, the moose and the deer. That would be my wish.
