I would pass and ENFORCE very tough immigration legislation (closing the border completely high wall...put employers of illegal immigrants in prison....deport illegal aliens when they are found).

How about ABOLISHING LAWS that were written 50 or more years ago that have little or no effect on society. Instaed of creating more laws that infringe on our personal freedoms, we should get rid of the ones that make no sense or are just laws that cost taxpayers money. One would be to modify the war On drugs as far as what defines a dangerous drug. Look we all know its a losing battle. I am not for legalization of drugs like cocain, heroin, meth or anything like that but we are in the 21st century and anyone with common sense knows alcahol is far more worse than marijuana but alcahol is big business. Therefore we continue to buy it, people continue to drive drunk and hurt others, not to mention the destruction it causes to familys of an alcaholic. If marijuana was issued to medicaly prescribed patients, it could be somewhat controlled. It's evident the government has little control over any drugs. It's a waste of money and time and is, for a lack of a better term...."a pipe dream" that this country will one day be drug free. It's just not going to be.

Opening the political process for third parties. Election reform is badly needed but I'll be clear on what:

- Electoral votes would be allocated proportionally to each candidate in each state but no candidates under 5% (in a state) can get any electoral votes
- Elections for Congress would use the Instant Runoff Vote
- Fair debates for all offices
- Lower ballot access laws for third parties and independents

Thanks!

I would require a politician to either make good on their campaign promises or resign from office. So often politicians will campaign on an issue that they know they cannot deliver on and then, once in office, have 'an epiphany', throwing that promise to the curb. The Clintons are famous for using this 'chicken in every pot' tactic only to find out that, golly, there are no chickens. Sorry.

If politicians were 'forced' to make good on their promises, they'd think a lot harder, more practically and more honestly about what they promised.

Get the fence built on both North and South borders.
Bring our men and women home to help defend it.
Restore the government assistance program to a helping hand status instead of a hand out for generations.
Implement the fair tax code.
Thank you, great question.

Repeal the 16th amendment and eliminate the income tax.

To all you Progressives hoping for free health care, education, etc. It would be nice to have more of that stuff at lower prices. But nothing is ever free. It's paid for with our taxes. What's more, you also end up funding monstrous wars and lining the pockets of corrupt lobbyists and corporatists.

Eliminate the lobbyist stranglehold and cripple the poisonous influence of special interests on government policy.

Publicly finance all political campaigns and eliminate private donations over fifty dollars.

All else will follow, and we will save billions in corporate welfare and tax breaks.

Eliminate political parties.

Require each candidate to stand on their own, and state their platform -- on a level playing field with all other candidates.

I would dispose of Bush immediately and have Hillary Clinton become President forever and then when she dies, have another modern progressive become President.
Marriage equality would become law in the form of a constitutional amendment guaranteeing all children of God have the basic human right upon birth to marry the person they love, period. It's time for real family values and real Christian values in America.

Apply a bounty on all illegal aliens.

I'd have the illegal alien problem rectified within a couple of months......and look at all the people who would become employed as bounty hunters.
We can't expect "Dog" to do it all by himself.
