Gynecologist?

Should I be going to the gynecologist yet?
-I'm 14
-I've started my period
-I am not sexually active
-I had cancer last year and had much radiation treatment to the
breast and pelvic area

normally girls don't go to the gynocologist until they are 18 or sexually active, but because you have a history of cancer you might want to get checked out since the main thing a gynocologist looks for is cervical cancer. you should ask your regular doctor whether he/she recommends it. if they haven't said anything about it you shouldn't be worried.

I actually went at age 11 when I first started my periods.
