If someone were to file a sexual harassment case against...say...the boss/owner of a company...how do they go about proving certain things?

...If you're the only one working there other than the boss/owner

The premise is very simple. Judges don't care what you know; they only care about what you can prove. The problem in your case is it's only you and the boss, so if you take it to court it'll be one big he-said-she-said. You can count on your boss to paint you in the worst possible light (doesn't matter if he's lying through his teeth; he'll say you were a substandard employee who did substandard work and had a chip on her shoulder). Unless you have evidence from an independent source, like one of your customers who overheard something and is willing to testify on your behalf, you don't have a case.

Any type of physical evidence like phone messages, notes, pictures, emails, etc. can all help. Eyewitnesses can also be very useful. Anyone who has also been harassed can help you to show a pattern of harassment.

Basically, if it is just your word against his, you have no guarentee of winning because you cannot prove that harassment has occurred.

In your situation it would be just your word against his. And of course he would say it never happened. Perhaps the police can set up a sting by placing a hidden camera somewhere in the office. Im not sure if they would actually do that for you but you can ask.

1st question is the harasser Pro-life or Pro-choice.
If Pro-choice you are out of luck and ask for it.
You name should be drag through the mud and be deny your day in court. People should be allow to lie under oath to discredit your case. Don't expect N.O.W. to be on your side either.
Now if the harasser is Pro-life you have a solid case and that person deserves to face the full fury of the courts.

With those two thumbs downs please let me remind you that was the deal with Monica and not a private affair.

Bill used his powers of office to prevent Paula from having her day in court.

So please don't mention to me how democrats support women in cases of sexual haressament again.
