Become a paralegal or a court clerk.

A paralegal (aka legal assistant) does a lot of work that attorneys do -- legal research, memos, document sorting, discovery, filings, meeting with clients -- which frees the attorney up to doing things only a licensed attorney (or solictor or barrister) can do.

While the laws vary by state and country, about the only thing a paralegal cannot do is interpret the laws for a client (= cannot provide legal advice), or represent a client in court.

You could see what's going here. http://www.careers.civil-service.gov.uk/Index.asp?txtNavID=153&txtOverrideDocID=14886&internalvacancies=False&635132=&lstABGroup=2
Your qualifications are unfortunately not enough to get you a job as legal adviser, but there are other positions where your background would stand you in good stead.
You might be interested in working within the court system, in which case your best bet would be to start in a fairly lowly position and gain experience so that you could move up rapidly to being a legal adviser there.
A good move might be to join local government. There are some wonderful openings there with chances of in-service training. Ask what's going with your local authority.
