10 days is a little long. But since you're period is new to your body, maybe it'll settle down to 7 days max. And it shouldn't hurt when taking the tampon out, unless it's too dry. Is the tampon really full of blood when it hurts when you take it out? Hopefully not, and that would just mean that you don't need a super. I think it's time for you to meet your first gynecologist. Tell him/her everything. You'll be fine, but it sure couldn't hurt to get your first pap smear. They don't hurt, as long as you relax. :)

well, you cannot know normal if you have only had three perioed.
it sound rather long and heavy for a young girl, but as the body starts to menstrulate it takes awhile to even itself out and figure out normal and avergae
it will likely get better and less heavy as you age
usually a period is 5-7 days. this doesnt mean there is anything wrong with you if yours is longer, that is just you... nothing you can do about it or the docotr cando about it, so just keep tracka nd after 12 months of bleeding you will better be able to deterimine your normal
if at this point you are still very heavy or long, you can do BCPs to lessen it, but they are not good for you so you should not do them unless you have to
it doesnt sound heavy enough to be mennorrhagis, but again, you will not know until you ahve been bleeding longer

That sounds normal. Don't forget that it can take years for a cycle to regulate. They might get shorter as you get older (mine did) The super tampons probably hurt because there is not enough liquid in them. You can leave a tampon in for up to 8 hours, so next time leave the super in longer (and then it probably won't hurt during removal).

Normal.
"The length of a woman's menstrual cycle will typically vary, with some shorter cycles and some longer cycles. A woman who experiences variations of less than eight days between her longest cycles and shortest cycles is considered to have regular menstrual cycles. It is unusual for a woman to experience cycle length variations of less than four days. Length variation between eight and 20 days is considered moderately irregular. Variation of 21 days or more between a woman's shortest and longest cycle lengths is considered very irregular."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Menstrual_cycle
Its also very normal for them to taper off after the 8th day - your uterus is a self-cleaning oran and will contract anything out for you (this is why douching isnt recommended because your uterus can take care of itself in there "cleaning-wise") When it tapering off you're no longer on your period its just the excess leaking out to start a another 21 days of ovulating.
If theres anything else that is not regular like..you bleed too heavy in those entire eight days everyday...or the cramps are too hard to handle or if your menstrual cycle come much earlier than 21 days - ask your doctor or gynecologist.

it is normal. that sound like my period. but u should still ask a doctor. if this is the first time ever getting your period or if it is NOT your 3rd year having your period then your period might be iregular wich means that one month u might have your period and then in 3 or so months u wont. it is normal till u have had it for more than 3 years. then u can start worrying.
hope that i helped. :)

Its pretty normal, when I first started I usually had my period for about a week. They may get shorter and more regulated once you get a little older and you mature more. You should talk to your Dr. When I was 16 I got tired of the bleeding and pain so I went to my Dr. and got pills to make my period shorter and lighter! Trust me it may be embarrassing to ask a person you don't really know about it but talking to your Dr. is the best thing to do!
