What pokemon do you keep in your party and why? Just trying to get some ideas...

i always keep my starter in my party, no matter what game.
also i try to keep a legendary in my party, even if they have really bad weaknesses just to boost confidence when u battle.
other than them i switch my party depending on who i battle.

i have a azumarill because in emerald it does most of the work like the first gym roxenne she uses rock i also have a swellow for dewfords gym and so on im not into legenarys though so thats y i defeated rayquaza

for my legendary party i have spiritomb,darkrai,arceus,mewtwo,manaphy,and ho-oh. for my party that only has one legendary, it has torterra,deoxys(attack form),dragonite,charizard,tyranitar, and bronzong
