There are many songs that have been made by some wonderful singers. And it seems to me that I can relate to a lot of them. Songs heal us sometimes, too!!?? At least I think so...
What song do you think is best to match who you are as an individual? There are too many to name personally. But, I love all the Celion Dion songs she sings.

I play this song at least once a day...if not more:
Elton John - Something About The Way You Look Tonight

There was a time
I was everything and nothing all in one
When you found me
I was feeling like a cloud across the sun

I need to tell you
How you light up every second of the day
But in the moonlight
You just shine like a beacon on the bay

And I can't explain
But it's something about the way you look tonight
Takes my breath away
It's that feeling I get about you, deep inside
And I can't describe
But it's something about the way you look tonight
Takes my breath away
The way you look tonight

With a smile
You pull the deepest secrets from my heart
In all honesty
I'm speechless and I don't know where to start

In the not-too-distant future
Way down in Deep 13,
The evil Dr. Forrester
Was hatching a Nasty Scheme.
He hired a temp by the name of Mike,
Just a regular joe he didn't like.
His experiment needed a good test case,
So he conked him on the noggin
And he shot him into space.
I'll send him cheesy movies,
The worst I can find
He'll have to sit and watch them all,
And I'll monitor his mind
Now keep in mind Mike can't control
Where the movies begin or end
He'll try to keep his sanity
With the help of his robot friends.

Edit Thank you Quella Bella...I am blushing. LOL

So many, many, wonderful songs have come forth over the
years. Not only songs, but great music from the composers
in former centuries. I hesitate to name just one or two.

But lately on TV one the commercials uses Sam Cooke's old hit from 1958, "For Sentimental Reasons(I love you)". In a couple of phrases the crooner sings I love you seven times.

I think all the songs on Three Days Grace's One-X are linked to how I feel, a stunning feel of loneliness, caused by being surrounded by people who don't know you...

I always have sort of a 'theme song'. After I got out of high school it was "like a rolling stone", by Bob Dylan. Later after I got married I was dead, so I didn't have one. After my divorce to present my theme song is "Badge of Pride" by Pennywise.

Yeah, too bad they all seem to be sad old country songs. (And I mean old as in Hank Williams, I don't like pop country.)

Oh wait, there is however my original favorite song which I believe would be classified as rock 'n' roll. "Blue Moon"
