answer me this!?

why is it that when people answer other peoples questions and they see that soemone has already put the answer that there going to they still put theres in i find this so annoying like clearly the person only needs to read it once

That's true. Some people might want to get a consensus, though. Or personal opinions and experiences. There's likely to be duplicates in such situations. It's also possible that they might not read the other answers. I've gone to answer a question when there were no answers, and by the time my answer is posted, I'm the 10th person that answered.

What I can't stand, however, is when a person copies and pastes previous answers into their own answer. People work hard to give a genuine, original answer and when someone comes along, says, "Ohh. I like that, and that and that. Control, C, Control, V. There we go. My answer." it's plagiarism. (I asked a question yesterday and the third answerer copied and pasted the two previous answers and tried to pass it off as hers.)

sometimes when i am viewing the main category page, the question shows as having 0 answers -- so if i answer it thinking i'm the first to answer, i'm not going to go back and delete my answer just because someone else already put a similar one. if, however, i can see that there are answers, i sometimes read through a few to see if people are already answering the same thing. then i usually don't, unless i want to bring up a different point in addition or phrase it a different way. sometimes when one person says something one way, you don't get it, but if someone else says the same thing phrased differently, you get it...see?

I 'just answer the questions before reading the answers. Then I read the answers. Whoever has the answer like mine is the one I vote on, because it's always the best one. I think everyone believes that there's is the beat answer. Why are we all doing this if not so!

I find runon sentences and bad spelling annoying.
I answer the question before I look at what other people had to say.
Maybe the did not read the answer before them.
Because they answer without looking at the other answers.
There addicted to answering is my guess.
It can take a while to post a reply.

I usually do not read what other people write, I just give my answer. There have been times I would click to answer and it show no answers then when I answer and hit submit there are dozens out there.

First of all, your grammar is incorrect. You already have an opinion that answers your question. You are just seeking affirmation.
