Gosh! i think it stinks that we have it happening!!!!!! its gotten started by not picking up trash which burns up in our atmospehere and destroys the ozone layer which heats up our planet, and by polluting with cars, using gas and exaust when also destroys our ozone layer and magnetic field. and big factories do the same thing

sooner or later, our ozone layer and maybe our magnetic field will be destroyed all because of us stupid people.

It got started the first time a "cave-man" chucked his worn out copper knife and didnt put it in the bin. Prevention is really in keeping it in mind and minimizing the amount of non-natural substances we kick-back to our environment. It affects our lives in contaminated water supplies, acid rain, poor air quality, and wildlife poisoning. The effects won't change in time. Maybe the amount, but the effects are the same.

---errr, the earths magnetic field is a function of the movement of the molten metal in the core of the eearth and not anything to do with pollution. The fact that it is reducing is causing an addition to the amount of solar radiation that makes it to the earth. Thus supplying false positive proof for global warming, and increasing the rate of skin cancer. And I'm sure we are really causing some global warming or similar effects, but I'm just saying...this is a natural phenominon that adds to it.

First U need to recognize what is a pollutant and what is not. First CO2 is not a pollutant but the way nature marks what the plants need to recycle.
If u don't recognize what the problem is u can not do what is needed to fix the problem. Mother nature has many tricks up her sleeve.
Methane is not a problem as it is very light and will rise to about 55 miles up where it will oxidize from the intense sun light.

i'm not sure how it all started. how can we prevent it? i guess by trying to emphasize the importance of the environment to the wide world. we need it as humans to survive, the wildlife need it, the plants need it...it's all a part of the circle of life. if we could stop being so lazy and toss that paper cup or food wrapper into a garbage can instead of throwing it in a tree or bush or something like that...it would help. :)

Too many people are too lazy to pick up after themselves, it contributes to global warming, and it' really pretty simple to pick up yur crap and walk ten steps to throw it away. We can slow it down @ least by picking up after ourselves
