I grew up without a mother, she died when I was young so I am very independent. Every decision I have made from that day forward was pretty much my own...I cant say I havent made mistakes, but I will take huge risks that would scare my friends. Life is short to not be taking risks, get out of the comfort zone sometimes - and that leads me to the answer to your question.
If being taken care of is purely giving, in order to make me feel better, say a nice back-rub, with nothing expected in return then it truly can be enjoyed as a blessing and a gift from another wonderful person who isnt afraid to give.
People in our society have a very hard time giving or taking care of something without expecting something in return.
Who doesnt like the occasional pampering?

The Golden Rule comes to mind when you ask this question. I think "people"have to take care of one another. It's not a question of gender. Obviously if you like and eventually you begin to love th person, I would think you would take care of the person. And I know you would want the same in return. It's common sense to enjoy a person and make him feel cared for. Aman that doesn't want to be cared for is lying or has some issues. he is as human as any woman. He is just a human being that has feelings.To directly answer your question, Yes, as a man I would like for a woman to show and care for me. There is nothing wrong with it.

Emotionally, I think men rely on women to keep them motivated, and vice versa. Personally, I love a woman that is there when I need someone the most, but I think it is wrong for a woman to treat it as a position of power. Remember that the opposite example can also be true.

I'm not a man but i just asked my man your ? and he said yes it loves it when i take care of him . I feel that it is part of my job as being a good wife . We have been married for 21 years and it works both way's he takes care of me as well

Guy's love it when oyu care for them, they like cooked meals, they like the tidying being done, they love thier boxers being washed, they love to take care of them :)
When you start dating a guy rememeber your taking over from his mother! :)
