First, i was asking because of the new aids research(he ought to just keep his little guy outta people who are infected with an std anyways but...) second, I did not do it because 7 months ago there was no medical reason, third the hospital was Blank childrens hospital where his doctor was, I do not believe they are catholic. I wanted mens opinions since they are the ones who have to keep it clean and lose some sexual stimulation from the loss of it, I didnt know what for sure to do thank you all.

I have to use a q-tip to clean out my ears and sometimes I get an ear infection. Why don't we just have our ears lopped off when we are born and then that problem would go away. And don't even get me started on the uselessness of male nipples. Those things are just problems what with male breast cancer and all.
Leave your child intact. I can't imagine when my son was brought into the world that the first decision that we made would be to cause him so much pain. And don't listen to anyone when they say that there is no pain involved. Those nerve endings exist at birth.

Look at the whole question from the outside. You can look at the whole question from natures point. Why would nature put something on the human body that it wanted cut off. If nature didn't design it to be there then it wouldn't be there. It is not up to us to redesign the human body. That is just plan and simple mutilation of a perfectly good organ. Man always thinks he can make things better, but look around at everything in nature. We are a part of nature and where do we get off thinking we can make it a better organ than what is there when you are born. If nature did not want you to have a foreskin then it would never have been put there. It is really that simple, unless you have type of medical condition that dictates that you need to be circumcised then leave it the way nature designed it. Your job is teach your son how to keep it clean and it will do its job. Don't be shy about the whole thing with your son. He needs to know how to take care of it and it will be better for him. listed below are only a few sights that you can get information. Think long and hard before cutting anything on your son.

There is no good reason to do this to your perfect new baby boy!
I am extremely grateful that my parents had the good sense to leave me intact! It is NOT "extra" skin -- it is very important to sexual pleasure for both men and their partners. The locker room thing is no longer a problem, if it ever was (was not for me) because probably a majority of the other boys will be intact -- circumcision is falling way out of favor in most parts of the country.
It is really not your right to irrevocably alter your son's body when he is too young to consent unless there is a medical reason. (Which there almost never is.) He can always choose to have it done as an adult (which very, very few men do) if he really wants to be cut for some reason. But he can't get it back if you have it chopped off.
Watch a video of the procedure http://www.cirp.org/library/procedure/plastibell/ -- is this the way you want to welcome your perfect new son into the world? Remember, that is a real child having his body mutilated.
The cleanliness argument is a crock. My wife says she has never seen, smelled, felt, or tasted smegma on me. Washing an intact penis is actually easier than cleaning behind your ears -- would you chop his ears off because he might not wash behind them?
All surgery has some complications. A lot of boys have post-circumcision infections and other healing problems. A few boys each year have to have their entire penis amputated because of botched circumcisions. And a few die. For what? Because somebody thought it looked cuter cut?
Let him have an intact body as his birthright!

Yes, it is a barbaric act based on ancient ritualistic mutilation that has been adopted by some religions. Over 70% of all males on the planet are not circumcised, and seem to function just fine, naturally, since the foreskin is a natural part of the human male body. I suspect that many ancient tribes and religions started doing it to differentiate themselves from other tribes. Interestingly, the Nazis in Germany would make males show their penises to determine if they were jew or not--if uncut, they were ok, if cut, they were arrested and imprisoned and usually killed. My own theory as to why it became popular in the US is that the large percentage of jewish doctors recognized the risk of only jews being cut, and made it into a phony health issue in order to allow jewish males to blend in with the rest of the population. The rest is history-- today you could not tell who is jewish or not in the US. Prior to the 1940s it was primarily jewish boys and men who were.

Honestly, if experts on UN proscribes it, why dont those uncut people violently react to the conference and claim mutilation?
These uncut people prolly just want more people like them who will share the risk of acquiring HIV.
Plus, there is less hassle in cleaning their instrument. No cases of phimosis or paraphimosis. (Do you really think males are as hygienic as females? There are vaginal washes but no penile/ prepuce washes.)
Healing is fastest during the earliest years. You can still have the elder boy circumcized. If ever, do it before he reaches teenage years. (About 7-8 y/o)

that hospital is wack, there's nothing wrong with circumcising an infant...for one the pain goes away and for two they won't remember a thing....you probably had your baby in a catholic hospital because catholics have those weird beliefs...anyway go ahead and get the next child circumcised if it's a boy, but with your 7 month old...it's your choice, wait until he's older so he can decide for himself, or hurry up and do it now before he gets older....

Why would you want to circumcise your son anyway? Is there any valid reason to, bessides the fact that everyone else does.
No point unless its due to religious beliefs.
