Why has it become ok for people to say ALL white people are racist? Anyone who downs anyone's culture is a racist. The problem is now that it has become ok in society to downgrade white people.I am getting very tired of hearing how horrible "we" make things for everyone when the people who are down grading my race are usual better off than me, or are celebrities on television, etc.
There are a lot of racist people out there. But they are not all white.

You speak the truth. I am tired of this also. Not all white are racist and its' not my fault that everyone was so abused. My life hasnt been all full of cherries and cream either.Get over it and move on.

Welcome to the club! You now know how it feels for someone to make generalizations about you based on the color of your skin, by a the actions of a few, and as a cop out for many situations. For centuries, people of all races including white people have made generalizations about black people. They see a few black women on welfare, and the next thing you know, all black women are welfare queens. They see a black man rob a store, then all black men are drug addicted, violent robbers. Blacks are the reason there is so much crime, black men are raping our women, blacks are uneducated, black are murderers, blacks are theives, and we are the reason for this and for that. So personally, Im tired of hearing how horrible "we" are!
The very same people who judge us, don't know us or our situations, they have never walked in our shoes, and have never tried.
I am not saying both parties are just in their actions, I am not saying that you personally are the one to place blame upon. But what I am saying is that it was only a matter of time that black people started pointing the finger back as the very same people who judges us.
Now we can go back and forth with each other or we can work beyond this situation, but at last we are Americans... so we will do what we know best... HATE WHAT WE DON'T UNDERSTAND!

Everyone is so politically correct here it frightens me. ALL PEOPLE ARE RACISTS and I don't care what color you are. It seems as though only people of color are allowed to voice their opinions, when a white person does it they are racist. I'm still trying to figure out how I am responsible for slavery.

Because... the majority of white people are scared they will offend someone of a different skin tone if they speak their mind, and let others know their opinion.
And also because.......the majority of white people let it happen.
I agree with your statement.
Not all racists are white. But not all chickens get plucked, now do they sonny?
If someone calls me a name I deem offensive, well, they have it comin back to them. I know we are backwards down here, but most of us (whites or blacks) stand up for what we believe in. Seems like the rest of ya'll jump on the liberal bandwaggon.
And in response to hypnotiq8. You go and do your research; in my part of the country, blacks are 45% of the population; however, blacks make up 82% of total population welfare recipients. That's a fact. That's no sweeping generalization. A fact.
Another fact; in our largest city, Jackson, we have the highest violent crime rate, per capita in the nation. Another fact, in that same city, the largest number of blacks per capita resides. Those are facts. Call me a racist. None of the things I have spouted out are racist. There is no slant on any of the facts I just presented. But, I bet I get called a racist. That's what's wrong with the big picture in our country; no one can have a finger pointed in their direction, no one is accountable.
