You didn't say why you made the cd, or what the content is. That could make a difference in sales. I'm guessing it is a waste of time, as far as sales. As for you personally, since you learned how to do it, it was not a waste of time. Education is its own reward.

Cranking out 7 good quality songs in 24 hours is almost impossible. I've got to tell you, as a recording artist, it's a mistake to record and then mix that session in the same day, your ears need time to rest. Take more time into your craft. I never try to spend less than a month on an album of about 10 songs, the more care you put into it, the better it will sound.

My first cd I ever mde was about 7 songs too...now I make them with up to 35 songs
