when I wake up on the wrong side of the bed, I simply take a 5 minute nap at work and it kinda resets my mind...

does anyone else find this effective?

I find that taking a 15 minute "power-nap" during the day really is refreshing and get's your mind in the right place.

I really need more than 5 minutes to nap!! But I understand the idea and it works for some people.

I can't nap at work. I might awake tied to the chair or worse. I am normally in a classroom with 25-30 13 year olds. Yep I can't turn my back much less close my eyes. :)

I wish I had the time for a nap at work! Working in professional baseball means no naps.....Unless I can find ways to bring in revenue while sleeping.

ha haaa! tru! we should start a club- i could be your vice pres.
a 5-10 minute nap at work does great wonders for me! it feels like 20 minutes sometimes. i don't know if it actually clears my mind, but it helps me be a little less moody and mad about being sleep deprived.

I'm old enough now that I no longer do power naps... I do actual naps. And yep, they take care of the problem. Of course they completely mess up my ability to go to sleep later, but hey, who cares. I'm old enough not to worry about that either!

No, I wish.

I feel worse if I should somehow (which is almost NEVER) take a nap in the middle of the day.

Once my brain is down, it's down for the count!

Good that it works for you tho.

No, if I nap at work, I'm worse off because it makes me long for sleep more than ever.
