Cyprus has "American" style coffee houses ala "Starbucks" that rank the second most expensive in Europe, Denmark is the most expensive and the UK, where you can buy a cup of black coffee for £1.42, comes in third after Cyprus. The average black coffee in Nicosia, 33 cl or small, cost about £1,97.

Hey I am a Cypriot (Turkish Cypriot). We prefer Turkish coffee here. Starbucks etc are expensive, so are posh restaurants and hotels. But if you eat in a local restaurant / taverna your local coffee will come with the compliments of the management. Both Turkish and Greek Cypriots do this. It's a custom. Apart from that 'our coffee' (some call it Cypriot coffee now) costs between 30cents to 1pound (Cyprus pound) depending on where you have it.

It depents on what kind of cafe you are.

A plain nescafe or filter coffe is usually 2 or 3 euro, in some places it may be up to 8 euro.

This is the right category for the question. Don't mind them, they are torks.

Depends where your drinking it but generally the prices are about the same as in England.

Will depend on where you are and what you mean by a cup of coffee.

Why is this question listed under Greece?
