That depends on the type of exercise. Usually normal daily exercise won't bother your cycle as long as it isn't over done but in many cases, especially in runners, they can actually stop their cycles by running so much and so far. Yes, in many women, during the onset of periods if you exercise and stress more, then the periods come faster than the normal date, so also the flow is much more due to uterine contractions. Do not stress ( physical ) yourself more during your periods. It is also possible that during the entire 5 day course of your period, if you stress yourself, the periods may stop prematurely. This imbalance is due to the physical stress on the uterus and the endometrium. The hormonal imbalance also acts on the endometrium and there is a change in the nature of the flow during periods.
