Ordnance Survey maps show accurate heights above sea level in metres with spot heights and contours.

You can see some on-line or buy them from Warerstones, WH Smithys or most bookshops.

If you want individual locations, Google Earth shows the altitude of the location of the cursor in the line at the bottom of the screen and in the properties of a Placemark.
If you want to see the lay of the land - topographical maps, then the ordinance map site given is preferable.
