Don't deal with them. Just feel sorry for them because of their inability to see the truth and pray for them. They will eventually have a reality check one day and learn the truth.

They think they are better than you. But you know they are not. They can be annoying, and obnoxious. So why deal with them at all? If it is a friend, acquaintance, or co-worker, when they approach you just answer them and be on your way. Be polite, but move on. If they don't approach you your problem is solved.
If they say something annoying to you, respond with a smile, and answer them appropriately. But never, never, let them know you are annoyed with them. Your smile, will annoy them more than anything else.
By the way, people that have a better than you attitude have extreme low self esteem. That is how they cover up their insecurities.

Be the same lovely person you are with everyone else.
Points of doing so:
1) Regardless of how they behave, you do not get down (or "up") to the same level as them, you haven´t similar complexes.
2) Inspite of how they view themselves, you do them a favour of treating them with the same respect and attention as every other human deserves - no more, no less.
3) They will be upset to realise they fail to impress, provoke, or intimidate anyone and they will feel ignored -although they should not if they are treated decently, but you have said it, they think themselves better- which will be even more upsetting.

If they start really getting on your nerves, try this:
1. Take a sec to make sure you don't blow up.
2. Talk to the person in private telling them POLITELY that they're no better than the rest of you and they should stop acting that way. Be sure to do it politely, though. Basically, just give them an ego check.

I typically feel sorry for these people. The feelings of superiority and arrogance are usually fake, you know a way of hiding their real insecurities.
Ignore them, or try to see the good in them and love them in spite of the behavior. Either way works.

Play to them. Ask them how's life at the country club, how was the Riviera this season, if they have had any luck getting good help, for recommendations on a good Maui realtor, who they saw at Palm Beach...

simply let them know that they are not better than any one, ask them if their $hit doesnt stink. we all are humans , we may look different and have different or more things but we all are equal.. if that doesnt work ignore them and pray that they smell the coffee before they they think that the world revolves around them.

don't pay any attention to them because for some reason they are intemidated by you and that's what causes them to act as if they are better than you even if they have more money if their atitude stinks then they can get no where

Be aloof, that usually gets them confused. People like this, love to be noticed and expect others to bow and scrape to them. Ignore and maybe they will go away!!! I personally stay away from morons of this kind, they are self-centred and very cold.
