It's almost a certainty that the baby will get chased and if it's small enough to fit in another fishes mouth it will probably get eaten. So be sure it's large enough to be safe.

Guppies atre generally top fish and look for fiid on the surface. When you feed flakes, it will find them with no problem at all.

Your filter should be ok. If the baby is 1/2 grown or more it will stay clear of that current.

There is a good chance the other fish will chase the babys ( my adult guppies chase my fry), Just make sure you have lots of busy plants, And they might not know where to find food, So when you put food in try still puting some crushed flakes in so they fry can get them and provide some floating plants,(for the fry to hind in when feeding. And the electric filter may be too strong (you can put a net over the filter intake), Good luck with you fry, Remember to keep ammonia and nitrite low with fry as they are delicate.

Try releasing just one or two at first. If it gets eaten, chased or sucked into the filter then wait a couple more weeks. The fry should be bigger then the other fishes mouth before you release them. Also you can check at your local pet store for a sponge to put over the intake of your filter. That will keep the babies from being sucked into and they also like to eat the food that gets caught on it.

ur best off not releasing them, if they are still small, they will get eatten by the goldfish.

also power filters like you know, will suck in the babies.

Try getting a spare tank with a sponge filter for baby fish,

Should do okay depending on how big/old it is. If it's to small it might get picked on a bit.
