The Jellyfish has red spots on its back and little teeth looking things around the middle. It was found at Holden beach in the Carolinas. If I don't keep the Jellyfish, it will die because I can't put it back in the ocean without it stinging someone or getting washed up on the beach again.
Does anyone have tips on taking care of Jellyfish? If so, please answer!!!
Thanks,
Sillypillow :)

Put it in a plastic bag and throw it away. There is no shortage of jellyfish in the ocean.

Try not to get stung when you're handling it. Washed up jellyfish are still quite able to sting the hell out of you.

put it back in the ocean. I've never heard of a pet jellyfish. and the point of it stinging someone or washing up again, that is nature. sometimes there are things we cannot control.

just to clear things up there are species of jellyfish that people do keep as pets. commonly know as an upside down jellyfish. As far as one that you are refering to i could take a safe guess and say its not that species of jelly. you would need to get a tank that is round or hex shaped and tall. and if you have no expierence keeping any saltwater animal i highly doubt youll keep it alive for very long. id say leave it on the beach and tell animal control or the on duty lifeguard of the situation and dont take the jelly as a pet.

bag and toss it, dont worry it doesnt have a brain. yes theyre are severla species that can be keep in an aqaurium, but findong him in the carolinas you will need a chiller, coldwater tank, and they require either a very DIY and thoightout tank or a special (few thousnad dollar) tank. most are not adapted to the type of current in most tanks, they float in the current and will therfore most likely get slammmed in toe glass or sucked in your filtration system. sorry, you could always try and tell us how it went, hell 20 years ago people would have said you cannot keep acropora alive and now fragging it is commenplace

You're keeping a jellyfish?

I'm afraid that jellies are not very adaptable to tank life. They will only eat live food, and they tend to croak in just a few weeks.

Sorry.

Jellyfish are not for human keeping. Put it back. If it dies, it dies. This is called nature.
