While life would be a little easier for you right now if you didn't have gestational diabetes, it is not all that rare and doctors know what to look for. You do need to closely follow your doctor's instructions and keep asking your questions to the doctor until you get an answer that you understand.

Go to www.babycenter.com They have loads of information for those who are pregnant, ttc, newborns and toddlers. You will find lots of information about what you can expect during your pregnancy. I would also talk to your doctor about your concerns.

do what the dr. says and follow all the instructions that's the best advice anyone can give.. dont be scared if u listen 2ur dr. everthing will turn out fine... enjoy bein' pregnant it's a wonderful experience

Well I know you can gain alot of weight way more usually if you don't diet. youmight become anemic also. Call OB please. Be informed.
