I usually help people change their tires or pull their cars out of ditches on snowy days for free. One time I helped this older gentleman change a tire on a hot day. I was sure he would have had a heartattack.

Besides giving money for what ever they were going to buy or other necessities... For my 22nd b-day a bunch of us went to Nochistan, Zacatecas, Mexico and there was a little boy there that didn't have any shoes so we bought him a pair of Nike's from the local shop. The next day we had seen him with out his shoes and we asked him where they were. He then asked us not to be mad but his father returned them and used the money to pay some bills. The poor kid was terrified that we would go to his father and ask for the money back. We told him that if that was what his family needed then it was okay. I want to make sure that everyone who reads this knows that in alot of places in Mexico there are begging kids everywhere but in this town, there was never alot of tourism going on and everyone there was really proud, no begging. It felt good to know in some way we helped, even just a little.

I WAS HAVING BY DINNER AND I HAD OVER HEARD THEM SAY THAT IT WAS THERE WEDDING ANNIVERSARY I BELIEVE IT WAS 65 YEARS THEY HAD BEEN MARRIED,. I TOLD THE WAITRESS THAT I WANTED TO PAY FOR THEIR MEAL AS JUST A GOOD CAUSE OF JUST BEING NICE,. THE OLD COUPLE WAS LEAVING AND WHEN TO PAY OUT AND THEY WAS VERY PLEASED AND CONFUSED MUCH WHY SOME STRANGER WOULD DO THIS. I TOLD THE WAITRESS TO TELL THEM THAT JESUS HAD SENT ME TO HELP. AMEN I WAS BLESSED.

I helped a lady who was lying on the ground outside a grocery store. She was diabetic and almost in shock and people were WALKING AROUND her. I got her some OJ and had the manager call an ambulance.

Just after Hurricane Mitch hit Honduras, I volunteered to go down there as a linguist/translator. Yes I was paid, but helping the people of an entire region rebuild themselves and their community and be given thanks for a job will always be appreciated. It touched my heart and my sould helping people of that community, letting them know what we were going to be doing AND keeping them safe.
