Hi there. I'm making some CD's for gifts for a b-day party and need helps with music tastes... There are boys and girls coming to the party. For the girls I'm putting together a list fairly easily but still need some help - the boys tastes I am clueless on... My son is into metal like my husband but I'm positive the other boys attending aren't into that..
Help please!?!?! I also don't know if I should make a separate CD for girls and another for the boys....

Psh all you girls think you know boys taste, well I'm 13 so lemme try to think back to the past...
Do you want swearing? Some boys that age listen to songs with swear words that I know. I really doubt you want swearing so I'll try my best.
Boys
Pink Floyd (Anything from "the dark side of the moon")
Linkin Park - Faint(or breaking the habit, really think they'll love it)
Green Day - American Idiot(most guys i know hate that band and so do I, but the youngins won't hold a grudge on them)
Girls
Plain White Tee's - Hey There Delilah(they'll go gaga for this song)
Beyonce - Irreplaceable(Most girls are into girl singers and Beyonce is a big one)
Taylor Swift - Teardrops On My Guitar(sweet song)
Well with those 3 songs it should be enough to fit on a small cheap cd. Don't get kids bop, trust me, they'll think it's childish.

it might be better to make seperate CDs. The girls might like both, but the boys might not like the girls' music.

OK, no idea about boys, but most 11yr old girls I know like the top 40 stuff... Like, Avril Lavigne, Fall Out Boy, Green Day, Beyonce, Gwen Stefani, Akon, etc. Hope this was at least a little helpful!

Why don't you just buy that Kids or spelled Kidz Bop it a remake of all hits but in childrens voice.
