The Maloofs are trying to move the Kings to Vegas, they are not trippin of of Sacramento.

The Maloofs will sooner leave the organization than spend money into a team they know will not win and will not draw interest. People get them confused w/ being these great owners because they show up at all the games w/ their jerseys and hats. They are businessmen. Period. Their focus is creating an organization that will make money first, draw fan support 2nd. In a perfect world, they get both, like in the late 90's, but when it goes bad, they are looking to make money, or get out.

They need to keep pushing to get the team into Vegas, though I don't know if that will happen because of the temptations that Vegas provides, and the league is so concerned about their image. If they want to win a Championship they will spend some money, if they really don't care they won't. Also, they can get a good player in the draft next year because I for see them becoming a lottery team the way they have been on the decline for a while now.
