I'm trying to work and all these lazy bums who think they're at the beach keep shuffling around the office making those damn flapping and smacking sounds and baring their ugly toes for all to see. Do the world a favor, put on some actual shoes. And men, for God's sake, lose the flip-flops...

I like flip-flops. But there is a time and place for them. They shouldn't be worn all the time especially at work.

My work is right by the beach and I've noticed some executives wearing flip-flops on Fridays. But these are the nice expensive leather ones.

Absolutley not! I love flip flops! I always wear them, they are so comfortable and if you know how to wear them or have the right kind they wont shuffle, make noise or be annoying. So, no, i am not gonna lose my flip flops~

in a professional environment, no, flip-flops are not appropriate, especially on men!
i'm glad you clarified that they're sexy in the right environment, though, cuz i have about 2 dozen pair...and i have lots of cute sandals appropriate to wear to the office - but then, i'm a girl so it's ok! : )

I love flip flops and i Do wear them to the office too.
However, I do not cause a rukkus, I walk in such a manner where the shoes don't make the awful sound. I hate it too.

Flip-flops don't belong in the office, I agree, however, many many styles of women's shoes have an open back and make some noise. Get a grip - if you stress over these little things, you're going to give yourself an ulcer or drive yourself crazy.

I love flip-flops also my feet are cute so I could wear them. I agree with you they don't belong in the work place especially If they have ugly feet.
