Tell him you love him and think what he is doing is great for our country. I know he doesn't want to be away from home so a letter from you, no matter what it says, is welcome. He will love hearing from you. You could mail him a couple at a time.

Write him a long, long letter and tell him everything you are doing. End the letter with love and hugs and kisses. Why can you only write once a month? Do it more often!

Just tell him you really miss him and love him a lot and hope he comes home without a scratch. Simple and to the point is perfect.

Tell him George Bush has stepped down as commander in chief. That's the most perfect thing you could say.

How much you like him, love him and are praying for his safe return.
I hope you do not mind, but I am going to pray right now for you and your dad.
Jesus, I came to you based not on who I am, but based on who you are and how perfectly you love us and desire to give us what we need.
Since that is true, I am first asking that you would give this person a peace in their heart about how to tell their dad how much they like the good things about him.
I also pray that you would give them the comfort to know that you love them and you desire for their dad to return home safe and that you know the pain and uncertainty that they have, knowing that their dad is in a dangerous place.
I am so glad that they have a dad and hope that they will keep remembering the love of their dad while he is away.
I ask that you strengthen them with your love to know that no matter what, you love their dad always, just as you love them.
Thank you for the awesome priviledge of praying a prayer of encouragement on their behalf, In Jesus' name.
Amen.
Doodad
I just hate to say, "I will pray for you, and not do it."

Write him lots of letters and send them on that one time a month. Keep like a packet of letters that you want to say to him. Then whenever that time of month rolls around to send him a letter, send him all that you have wrote to him.

I was in Iraq in '04, just tell him about your daily activities, it'll make him feel like he's included in whats going on and not so far away.

He just wants you to talk to him about everyday stuff to take his mind off the fact that he is so far away from you. You don't have to say anything perfect?! Just talk to your dad about your life....

BTW I am praying for your family and your dad's safe return...Thank your father for his brave service to his country for me!!
