Ok this is kond of a long story so I'll start from the biggining. I told my best friend I was saving up for an iPod video,we both have iPod nanos. So as soon as I tell her she walks away and grabs her cell phone and tells her mom to buy her and iPod video. Then we stop by her mom's work and she says, "Mom you really need to get me an iPod video!" Then I get a phone call that night and it's my friend. She's yelling and screamming. She got an iPod video. It just mad me so mad because I told her I was saving up for one and she tells her mom to get her one and like 2 hours later she has one! My only consolation is that she didn't get the color she wanted. Like that's going to make me feel better. So, do I have a right to be mad or not. Because right now I'm so mad at her that I could....wel, you get the picture.

Hey, in the world of right and wrong, dump the spoiled brat.
But in the real world, yes, you can be mad, etc.
And when you get over that, just realize that you are being given the tools you need to survive in this world, and that spoiled brats often end up at sea, barely able to tread water.
They don't make it in the real world, but you will.
And people will like you better for it.

ha ha i'm nt laughing at u dnt worry....u do have a right to be mad dear but if ur friend's mom buys her the ipod...just think that later her mom can make her do things by blackmailing like :i bought u an ipod,zen dump ur bf....its just for ur consolation n about being mad i would say that u can continue save n wen u get the ipod tell ur friend that u bought urself an ipod with UR savings...cheer up u will feel much more comforted if u listen to ur own ipod which u bought with UR own saving.

Well..not to sound mean or anything but thats a little petty dont you think? It sounds like you may still be in middle school. Really, thats no thing to get mad about,and it sounds like your anger is coming more out of jealousy rather than any real reason. I mean, if she has it, be happy for her, you'll get to see it too. Sure, she might have done it just to spite you, but really. When you get older, you'll realize there are MANY much much worse things a person can do. Let it go. You'll be the bigger person and you will have shown some maturity. Good luck.

You can't be mad at her for being spoiled. You need to remember that you are the one saving your money and buying one yourself. That says alot more about a person then running to mommy does. And look on the bright side, when you save up your money to buy one, there will be a new and improved iPod video, and yours will be better then hers! Then what is she going to do run to mommy again asking for another one? You are a better person then that, you are earning the things you want, not counting on everyone else to just hand them to you. Good for you!!

a similar situation happened to me once and I was kinda pissed off too. But you have to realize that life isn't fair and that some other people will be wealthier and more spoiled than you are. But think of it as a good thing, don't you feel better that you actually worked hard to save up that money rather than getting it right away like ur friend?

This is the kind of "friend" who wants to be one step ahead of you, not cause she's testing the waters for you but because she wants to feel like she's better than you. You probably have something going on for you and she's jealous so this is her attempt at getting back at you. Well don't take this lying down!! Hells yeah you have a right to be mad!!

i think you have the right to be mad..i mean not that mad to the point where you hate your best friend or anything but like a little upset at least...cuse you saved up for it and to call your mom a little while after hearing that, i would be kinda mad too.
