Since approximately March of this year my eye's have been producing over exesive amount of tears or watery eye's. I have been to the doctor and have been perscribed with allery medicine. I have also been to the eye doctor that gave me eye drops containing antihystimes for the problem, I have also taken prior to going to these doctors over the counter medicine like sudifed, clariton and nothing seems to help allergy like symtoms of the eye. I would like to know if anyone else has this problem or anyone else experiencing this problem what they might suggust of their treatment of diagnosis of what this may be. I have a hard time driving, doing my daily routines with the annoyance that my eye's are always bubbled up with tears, and the contant wiping of my eye's making it difficult to function. "By the way the doctor did rule out sinus infection". Please advise.

You might have no choice but to return to your eye doctor to determine the cause of your tearing. The causes of epiphora (constant tearing) are:
allergies
ingrown eyelashes
mucus buildup in the lacrimal duct
obstruction due to airborn irritants
certain eye conditions

If you have a blocked duct, it will need to be fixed. If it is allergies, you need to find the basis of the allergy in order to clear up the tearing...allergy testing may have to be done. Please return to your eye doctor and let him know the problem has not been resolved.
