i have ten week old triplets and suffered from a bit of baby blues after having them. i just found out today that i am three weeks pregnant. i know doctors recommend to wait three months before getting pregnant again but just like when i became pregnant with our triplets my husband and i weren't not trying to pregnant and were having protected sex.

is it safe to be pregnant this quickly? my midwife said she wasn't too sure?

anyone else had an experience like this?

did you have a c-section with your triplets? i think your midwife is concerned coz your not supposed to get pregnant for 18months after having a section, something to do with the incision not healed properly. it must be hard work having 3 babies at once. ive got a 6 year old and 16 month old twins and we really struggled at first. the chances for you having twins with this pregnancy are pretty high too!good luck hun

I know someone who had children very close together and they were fine, it does seem quite quick but I should think that it should be ok but I would ask my doctor.
As for you it was hard enough with my twins but you have triplets, do you think you could cope, it will be hard.
Good luck in whatever you choose to do, it's your decision not anyone else's.

It is proven that a women's body needs at least a year to fully recover from childbirth, but plenty of women have gotten pregnant way sooner than that. My younger sisters are 15 months apart. It will be hard, but I am sure that you will find your way through it, most mothers do. Good luck.

There is a year between my two ,I didnt have the blues but terrible morning sickness.
I was great having them but it was hard work for the first few years.
They are in their 30s now.Once you get over the shock of this new pregnancy you will be fine.
All the best.

The best advise is to not have any further realtions with your husband for the time being, your body will be needing to heal and be under no preasure or well you know.

well they do want you to wait and give your body time to heal and get back to normal. You might have a more difficult pregnancy because you not back to normal yet or you might be fine. Its a little late to worry now. Good luck

My husband and his sister are only 10 months apart and they're both okay - and so is his mum- sort of ;o).

good luck to you - I have 2 18 months apart and it can be hard!

I agree, you poor thing.

Yes it is safe to be prenant this soon, but it is not an easy road to take. My cousin has babies that are 11 months apart and it is definitely a handfull.

Will pray for you!

Well, it's really not possible for any of us to say, and there isn't anything you can do about it now.

There have been many, many women who have had back-to-back pregnancies and came through just fine. Tired, but fine.

Get good medical care and you ought to be fine as well. Congratulations!!!
