How can I get stuff out that's slipped behind a hot-water room radiator?

This radiator is only about a inch away from the wall and an inch off the floor, added to the fact that there a windowsill overhanging it above. Over the years, small books, papers and other "junk" had fallen behind it and I can't get my hand in back of there to clean it out. Any ideas what to do? Thanks in advance.

Some may blow out with your vacuum.
Fishing with a coat hanger might work.
