They are going to be absolutely fine without food for only 3 days, most fish can actually survive for up to 2 weeks without food, just feed them before you leave, but don't overfeed them at that feeding
Please stay away from any food tablets and vacationfeeder, they will only pollute your tank, and you do more harm then good
Hope that helps
Good luck

I would look up each fish. For some fish you can leave them a week with no food, others only feed every fourth day. Other people are suggesting these fish are more sensitive, so I would look into if further. Most fish can probably live with food every other day twice, so at worst get someone to stop in once in the middle of your vacation and drop in food you have prepard in little baggies. If you overfeed during a vacation the water can get messy and they can get sick, so many people do underfeed. Good luck!

ya tropical fish can go 2 weeks without food if it bothers that much just go to the store and buy a 7 day feeding block ( says 7 day but only lasts 3 days) and your catfish and clown loaches don't need to be fed the eat from the bottom unless you don't have any poo or food on the bottom (the food from other fish in the tank if you have other fish with them) so if your that worried just get the 7 day feeders otherwise if your not then just leave it and feed them extra when you get back and before you go

They are all fine. They can go more than a week without food, so don't even worry about it. Those little vacation feeders are terrible ideas as they pollute the tank water. Also, very little of the tablet is even edible for the fish. Have fun!
Also, no fish eats poop. No living animal eats poop. Fact.

If they are used to being fed every day, they really should remain on the same schedule. What you could do, if it's absolutely impossible to have someone feed them for you, is get some of that "vacation feeder." Basically you just drop it in the tank and the fish can pick at it and bits float off for them to eat. I think they make them for different day amounts and different types of fish.
You can usually find them at any pet shop, but here's a specialty page: http://www.thatpetplace.com/pet/cat/infoL3/22904/category.web

There are pellets that you can get at your local pet store that will last the 3 days in your tank just ask one of the associates at the store then your fish will be able to eat and you can have fun without the worry!

Get an automatic fish feeder. They are not perfect but they allow you to pre-load fish food and deliver it at programmed times.

Yes sorry to say that it is a problem if you don't feed them for 3 days. By the time you get back they will all be dead. If you know that you will be gone for a couple of days then ask someone to feed them for you, a neighbor, a relative...
Hope that helps.
