I can net 6 in a row from the 3point line in basketball. My goal is to net 10 in a row from the 3point line. When I am done that, I wonder whether or not I need to improve my 3point shot from 1feet to 2feet beyond the arc. Is it worth spending 6months to a year trying to net 10 in a row from 2feet beyond the 3point line for street basketball? Personally, I do not think so.

I bet lots of Basketball players cant even net 6 in a row.
Everyday when u go out 2 play just get 7 times next time get 8 next get 9 and keep on going.
I belive Mike Bibby shots 1000 3 pointers everyday and now he spent half his day doing nothing cuz u will get tired by half way.

There is never a need to shoot from 2 to 3 feet behind the arc in a REAL basketball game.

I guess if you're just playing in the park, you could shoot from there if you wanted.

But, why would you want to?

the furthur from the basket you can shoot and shoot well makes it more difficult for a defender to gaurd you. If he has to challenge your shots from beyond the 3 point line you will have an easier time driving because he will over commit and fall for pump fakes.

its worth is becuase thats how you get nba three-point range. and youll be able to be even harder to defend and youll find itll be even easier to drive to the basket... and i kno i like to shoot from the nba three in street ball cuz people lay off you. look at gilbert arenas, hell shoot it from 30 feet if someone's laying off of him.
